Financial Disclaimer

In short: this is not advice.
Every calculator, article, and worked example on CalcFalcon is an educational estimation tool. Nothing on this site is tax, legal, investment, or financial advice, and using it does not create an advisory or professional relationship of any kind. Your specific situation almost certainly involves details a general-purpose calculator can't see. Before you file a return, make a quarterly payment, sell an asset, or make any other financial decision, confirm the numbers with a licensed CPA, tax attorney, enrolled agent, or financial advisor.
Why We Publish This
Freelance income, self-employment tax, capital gains, and retirement planning fall into what the industry calls "Your Money or Your Life" (YMYL) content — topics where bad information can cause real financial harm. We take that seriously. This page exists so you know exactly what our calculators are, and are not, before you rely on a single number they produce.
What Our Calculators Do
Every calculator on CalcFalcon applies published formulas — IRS tax brackets, FICA rates, platform fee structures, compound interest math — to the numbers you enter. They run entirely in your browser. See our methodology page for exactly how each calculator is built and sourced.
What Our Calculators Don't Do
- They don't know your full financial picture — dependents, prior-year carryovers, state-specific rules, credits, or deductions you haven't entered.
- They don't account for every edge case in the tax code, platform fee schedule, or interest calculation they model.
- They don't replace a professional's judgment. A CPA or financial advisor can ask follow-up questions a calculator cannot.
- They can be wrong. Inputs can be mistyped, formulas can have bugs despite our best effort, and published rates change. See our correction policy if you spot an error.
Tax and Legal Rules Change
Tax brackets, contribution limits, and thresholds are adjusted annually and can change through new legislation at any time. Each tax and finance calculator on this site shows a "Sources & Last Updated" block citing which tax year the figures reflect and when we last checked them against the IRS. If you are reading this after that date, confirm current figures directly with the IRS or your tax professional before acting.
No Investment Recommendations
Nothing on CalcFalcon recommends buying, selling, or holding any specific investment, security, or financial product. Where we link to third-party financial products (see our affiliate disclosure), those links are compensated referrals, not endorsements of suitability for your situation.
No Professional Relationship
Using this site, subscribing to our newsletter, or contacting us does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and CalcFalcon or its authors.
Limitation of Liability
CalcFalcon and its operators are not liable for decisions made using information from this site. See our full Terms of Service for the complete limitation of liability.
